Standard Life Bank has chosen a programmable electronic controlled mobile storage system from Spacesaver, a division of KI. The installation houses thousands of title deeds - and provides sophisticated safety and security devices. Spacesaver has infra-red beams at three points - across the aisle, the length of the aisle and the entrance to the aisle. The system is programmable to automatically select and retrieve documents and circulate air around the documents at night. The system can also link the storage to the building's fire system. It's as simple as press and 'go'.
